We are pleased to announce another important step in the development of COUNSEL: As of January 1, 2027, Mario Kuppe, tax advisor (Steuerberater), will join the management board of COUNSEL Treuhand GmbH WPG StBG.
For over 20 years, Mario has been advising wealthy families, entrepreneurs, and their family offices – specializing in tax-optimized succession planning, wealth structuring, and the specialized tax aspects of corporate and private investments. Until the end of 2026, he will remain as a partner at the private clients boutique MÜLLER MAHLMANN Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater mbB in Hamburg; prior to that, he worked in wealth management and the family office sector.
In his new role, Mario will strengthen and further expand the business area of tax-optimized succession planning and private clients. This allows us to deepen our advisory services precisely where entrepreneurial, family, and tax issues intersect – in corporate succession and the structuring of substantial wealth.
Another milestone for COUNSEL: Mario’s arrival adds premier expertise in succession planning and wealth management to our strong team of around 70 tax and audit specialists. In this way, we are consistently expanding our portfolio in high-quality advisory services for corporate clients and wealthy families.
