Just as required for the purchase or the sale of an enterprise, business valuations are equally important in the event of mergers, contributions in kind or in the event of a planned initial public offering. It ensures in advance that every procedure is transparent, clean and without pitfalls.
Our job in these scenarios naturally varies according to the task – we take on the role of neutral appraisers, advisers, arbitrators or mediators. In the process, the valuation is performed according to the principles of business valuation set out by the Institute of German Public Auditors (IDW Standard S 1), or according to simplified methods as specified in the respective contract.
